The Innervation process is based on the idea that people learn more and reach new levels of insight when they are involved in a first-hand experience with the food and the consumer’s (or operator’s) point of view.
Innervation sessions are designed to energize your team’s thinking in a full-sensory environment designed around your target and category. The stimulation will uncover new understanding and help your team develop breakthrough ideas and innovations together.
Each Session is Custom Designed

Step 1: Interview
First, we talk to you and your team. What’s worked, what hasn’t, what are you trying to accomplish?
Step 2: Design
Then we design an event, or a series of events, to address the situation. This includes a price and a timeline that we talk you through to make sure you’re engaged in the process and outcomes.
Step 3: Execution
No random brainstorming and no play toys. Instead, a lot of hands on exercises built with a strong foundation of consumer and category insight.
If you’re in a hurry, we have an Express process that incorporates the ideation, culinary prototyping and consumer testing all in one week!
Step 4: Follow Through
We don’t just type up meeting notes and leave the rest to you. We’ll work with you on concepts, real food prototypes, research, etc. Basically whatever it takes to keep the innovation ball moving.
